Tonight I made some yummy fajitas and I thought I would share the recipe, because it's so quick and easy. It's not my own recipe, I did get it from a friend but I tweaked it some and I think it turns out better. Anyways....
2-3 Chicken Breast or Bonless Steak cut into pieces. I do this after it's all cooked because usually the meat is coming frozen from my freezer.
2 Cups or so of Salsa
1/2 Cup Water or so :)
1 tsp. of fajita seasoning (depending on taste) I bet I even use more but I'm not sure cause I never measure.
1 or 2 Onions sliced up
1 or 2 Green Bell Peppers sliced up
Put that all in the crock pot and let cook. And obvisouly it's done when the meats cooked and the onions and peppers are sort of soft. I promise you'll love this recipe. I think the measurements are pretty accurate, at least I hope. Like I said before I never measure, I just start dumping stuff in. The original recipe I got from my friend (thanks heather) called for a whole jar of salsa and no water or fajita seasoning. But I would recomend putting in the seasoning and water and not a whole jar of salsa. Anyways then I always like to cook up those tasty "uncooked" tortillas, and top it off with cheese and sour cream. YUM!
I wish I would of taken a picture of it but I didn't, so you get a cute picture of tayt from today. he's got the best looking blue eyes!! :)
