Martinson Family: January 2009

my aunt has her puppies up for sale... i thought i'd pass it along. the mother of the puppies used to be my puppy. well for about 12 weeks till my aunt got her. she was from the batch of puppies that my dog had and now she has puppies. is this making sense??? probably not, i was rambling. but basically my dog is now a grandma. GOT IT??

anyways there super cute they would be 1/2 yorkie poo and 1/2 maltese i believe. oh and if nows not the time for a puppy for you check back with me later. lilly (my dog) is about to have puppies. what was i thinking you ask???? yes were due at the same time, me and the dog. but hey somehow we got to pay off this rotten 5000.00 medical bill we got coming up after the baby is born. being self employed doesn't always have the best benefits. we got CRAPPY insurance! lilly is a yorkie poo and her "boyfriend/husband" is a yorkie. how cute will they be?!! check out this blog for more details on the puppies. http://hatchbunch.blogspot.com/

It's crazy to think it's all over, the presents opened, the decorations coming down, probably gained 10 lbs. all the family visiting done. Sad but kinda nice to get back to a normal routine. Jake had been working down in provo just prior to christmas. so it was so nice to have him home. he had been staying down there for 4 LONG weeks! he did come home on the weekends though. but it was still a long time! so he was able to take 2 weeks off for christmas, and me and tayt enjoyed it, big time!!

we had a great x-mas eve down in draper at jakes brothers house, with his siblings. then christmas morning we had at our house. and then after a few phone calls from my family telling us to hurry it up. (we were the only ones not to sleep out there) we made it out to my parents, to enjoy more festivities there. presents, games, food, and a huge snow storm. which jake was really excited about. we just got a big snowblower and he was pumped up about using it. and i was greatful that night we didn't have to shovel, there was just way to much! although i don't mind shoveling i think it's a good way to burn off some calories and get tayt outside to burn off some energy. kind of a win win situation. then friday morning we headed up to bear lake to join jakes family at his dads cabin. and we again enjoyed food, games and some tubing. and sat. night we came home, and met up with some friends that were in town from arizona. on sunday morning we were supposed to be heading up to driggs to once again enjoy more food and games, but tayt got sick so we bagged it. which was a bummer. but i didn't want to travel 4 hours with him feeling crappy. and possibly throwing up the whole way up there. so we opted to stay home. so yah that was our christmas.

new years was low key for us. we had a few people invite us places but we didn't end up going. we just went to the aggie game then came home and tayt fell asleep and me and jake played the wii. and at midnight lit off a few fireworks. a total mellow new years but great! now i'm onto getting tayt to make sure he stays in his bed through out the night, and not joining us in our bed every night at 2 am. and also back to the potty training. i kinda gave up. i decided not to start training him before the holidays. there no routine during those months for us. so Jan. is a whole new ball game for us. he's got to be potty trained and in his bed all night before this baby comes. which really she could be here at the end of the month. and i'm a bit nervous! i'm kinda hoping she comes late. i really wouldn't mind if i went a week or two over. not to mention i haven't even started her room. right now it consits of a million photo props, jakes clothes everywhere! and odds and ends. so yah i'm not quite ready. i need longer. but i guess i don't get to decide that. :)
