you know they'll hate this one when they get older. but i couldn't resist!

Forgotten........

Things I forgot about newborns.....
1. How such a little person brings in so much chaos (in a good way) basically just no schedule makes for a crazy day.
2. All the little cute grunts and noises they make
3. 10 or more diapers a day. I think I'm used to a 2 yr. old..... 2 or 3 a day.
4. How hard they are to get dressed.
5. How enjoyable it is to just sit and hold them.
6. How every little thing they do you think is so cute.
7. That I become crazy about germs and anybody touching her, I make everybody thoroughly wash their hands and then use sanitizer.
8. That I worry about her in her carseat since I can't see her when I'm driving.

this is a new one for me. i always wondered if tayt would do this but he never did. good thing their poop is pretty innocent. needless to say she got 2 baths

Here she is........

Mya Kay Martinson has now officially joined the family. I started to have contractions friday morning after I woke up. I wasn't sure if it was the real thing because it wasn't very painful. Well after about 2 hours of that I realized it probably was the real thing. So I called Jake to have him come home from work, called my mom and dad, and we headed to drop tayt off with my dad. My mom met me and Jake up at the hospital at about 12:30. And at 3:07 she was here. 6lbs. 9oz. and 19 inches. Tiny! It was a quick labor. More painful then with Tayt though. I of course opted for the epidural. But with Tayt I didn't feel a thing. With her I felt alot. When I started pushing I stopped and told them it was killing me. But there was nothing they could do about it because she was right there. And the next push and her head was out. Thanks goodness!
